STORY + SOUND
Scheherazade Music Festival creates personal connections through narrative driven chamber music at the scenic Prairiewood Retreat & Preserve’s Blue Sage Barn. Experience live music in the Flint Hills of Kansas.
Our Story
One fateful brunch, three friends with a shared passion for chamber music and a vision to create an innovative and engaging music festival sowed the seeds that would grow into the Scheherazade Music Festival. With storytelling at its core, SMF programs exciting concerts that connect people to spellbinding narratives.
Set in Manhattan, Kansas amidst the picturesque Flint Hills, SMF brings live chamber music to the prairie heartland and local community.
