One fateful brunch, three friends with a shared passion for chamber music and a vision to create an innovative and engaging music festival sowed the seeds that would grow into the Scheherazade Music Festival. With storytelling at its core, SMF programs exciting concerts that connect people to spellbinding narratives.
Moving from Manhattan, Kansas to the vibrant cultural hub of Kansas City for the upcoming festival, SMF begins a new chapter of bringing chamber music to the prairie heartland and local communities.
